With the patronage of the Veneto Region, the Tourism Department of Padua Province, the italian Golf Federation , the Veneto Golf Committee , the PGAI and the cities of Padua, Galzignano, Rovolon and Selvazzano, this prestigious tournament will take place at Golf Galzignano , Golf della Montecchia and Frassanelle courses from August 15/16/17 2024 and will be anticipated by an exceptional event, the PARENT & CHILD tournament, in partnership with JAGUAR LAND ROVER on August 13th at Montecchia Golf Course
The U.S. Kids Golf mission is to introduce even small children to high quality golf in a competitive, healthy playing experience and the Venice Open is the perfect opportunity for children to enjoy the game of golf in an international setting.
This tournament is infact the second largest U.S. Kids Golf International championship held in Europe (after Scotland) and is an annual summer appointment of the U.S. Kids Golf world events calendar (Scotland, Malaysia, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, Uganda, Kenya , United Arab Emirates, Canada, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico).
The competition is open to boys and girls aged 5-18, who have qualified to partecipate through the many Local Tour events held all over the world. The youngest categories will play 9 holes course in Galzignano Golf , while older participants will tee off on our 18-hole courses at Montecchia and Frassanelle.
According to the categories of play and thanks to the Patronage of the Italian Golf Federation, the results will be valid for the National Ranking System and the Italian National Order of Merit and recognized by the Junior Golf Scoreboard , and the World Amateur Ranking.
The Top 5 players of every age category will receive awards, and the tournament will assign the Priority Status according to the players’ finishing position and automatically qualify to participate in all International Events including European Championship in Scotland and the World
Starting from the 2017 edition the Venice Open is organized under the banner of environmental sustainability. This allowed the event to obtain from the 2018 edition and for all subsequent editions, the environmental certification “GEO Tournament”.
The sustainability partners of the event are GEO Foundation, OneOcean, Sprout, Eurven/Corepla, Green Division and Atelier del Miele.
