On 2018 the Venice Open has been the first amateur tournament that achieved the GEO Tournament Certification. Also for the 2019 Venice Open edition the USKids Foundation and the PlayGolf54 Group decided to follow the same policy to make the tournament as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible.

Nel 2018 il Venice Open è stato il primo torneo al mondo riservato agli amateur ad aver ottenuto la GEO Tournament. Anche per l’edizione 2019 del Venice Open la USKids Foundation ed il gruppo PlayGolf54 hanno deciso di adottare la stessa politica al fine di rendere l’evento sempre più sostenibile dal punto di vista ambientale.
